Contest Rules and Guidelines

1) Please write your solution in the form of a paper you would submit to your professor – this means include citations, references, and make sure that you acknowledge all of your sources.

2) At the beginning of your paper remember to include your name and school, and the names and school of all your team members if you’re working with others.

3) Make sure to discuss the details of your model. Model assumptions should be made explicit, and weaknesses as well as strengths of the model should be discussed.

4) If your model includes a computer program, please provide the accompanying algorithm. It is not necessary to attach the program itself, but output data are certainly expected.

5) If there is a solution of sufficient quality, the winning team will receive a cash prize (see the Current Problem page for contest-specific details).
